About Dr. Tierra Hereford & T.H. & Associates
T.H. & Associates was founded by Dr. Tierra Hereford to provide accessible, trauma-informed mental health care and forensic evaluation services to underserved communities across Virginia.

Dr. Hereford earned her BSW from the University of Kentucky, MSW from the University of Louisville, and DSW from Simmons University. With experience in child welfare, military behavioral health, substance use treatment, and private practice, she brings a deep understanding of how mental health and the justice system intersect.
​
After years serving military families, rural communities, and justice-involved populations, Dr. Hereford saw a critical need for culturally competent, clinically skilled evaluators—and created T.H. & Associates to meet it.
​
Today, the practice offers therapy for individuals, couples, and families through telehealth and in-person sessions in Alexandria, along with court-ordered evaluations delivered with professionalism and timely results.
